YOGA 101


  A structured Yoga program targeting the needs of growing children 




YOGA 101 is a program we have designed for children and teens to introduce them to the ancient practice of Yoga in a thoughtful, balanced and sequential way, while also ensuring they get to have some fun!

Each class incorporates all three key aspects of yoga – traditional yoga postures (asana), breathing techniques (pranayama) and guided relaxation (yoga ).  

Our YOGA 101 program has been designed to help students


  • develop strength, flexibility and self-awareness

  • increase confidence, resilience, self-esteem and powers of concentration

  • feel a sense of connection and empathy

  • reduce the negative impacts of stress and anxiety

Kids Yoga 101 is designed for children aged 5 -12 years of age and allows children to attain all the benefits of yoga in a fun and inclusive way that incorporates games, music and lots of laughter.


Our Teen Yoga 101 program specifically targets the physical, social and emotional needs of teens.  In these classes, a different area of focus is workshopped each week, such as sun salutation sequences, balancing postures, partner poses, and meditation and relaxation techniques.

All mats and props are provided - nothing to bring but your water bottle!
